Hello
when creating Cues and Cuelists (Playbacks), Lightshark gives them automaticly a number (and also a given place in the Cuelist-holder = 3 in a row)
this is easy and nice in the beginning; but really annoying after a while when I made multiple tests and after deleting not used Cues and Cuelists....
because Lightshark still gives numbers to the new Cues and Cuelists (Playbacks) and leaves lots of empty spaces in the Cuelist-holder. (upper left side)...
example : I create 12 playbacks (CL1 to CL12) and than delete CL3 to CL12); when I now create a new playback; its numbered (automatic) CL13 and sits on place 13 leaving the places 3 to 12 empty and so on, and so on....
So is there any possibility to renumber or reorder Cuelists or to move them from one place to another (not talking here to reorder Cues inside a Cuelist but re-oder the Cuelists (Playbacks) themself
thanks for any help ! :)
-- I had a look into the show-file, but unfortunately its not a XLM-file and cannot be edited....
Hello
here is my advise after some tests : it is not possible to renumber a Cuelist and it is not possible to reorder or sort them; and its not possible to retrieve a given place once a Cuelist has been deleted (after deleting, this given place will always be empty !! creating and leaving lots of "holes" in the organisation of your Cuelists !!!!)
so my personal advise is : never delete a Cuelist !! you can edit the content and the name at any time and very easily !! you can add Cues or delete them or move them from one Cuelist to another so it is far better to leave yours Cuelists in place and edit them for your needs !!
I'm experiencing the same issue, created dozens of cuelists to fill up the executor slots and they didn't work correctly, now I have a bunch of empty cue lists and several blank spots since I learned to not delete them. I have several cue lists created and many lights patched that I want to keep. There must be a solution for this.
